About Us

Community Pediatrics is a primary care clinic caring for children 0-18 years of age and was established to bring excellent pediatric care to our community.

Dr. Peterson started the clinic on September 14, 2005, with an idea to bring specialized pediatric care to an area where there was previously none.
Our founder, Dr. Elizabeth Peterson, began in a small rented space with only one exam room, one receptionist and one nurse, and within months Community Pediatrics grew to over 500 patients. Now Community Pediatrics has 4 providers (all members of the AAP), growing support staff, and has served over 11,000 children in the area! We have been able to build a unique pediatric setting with each room bringing a different theme. Our staff strive to make each appointment a comfortable experience for children of all ages, understanding the challenges and demands that are placed on todays families.

Our providers are all board certified in pediatrics to provide the best care possible to children. While all of our providers offer general care to all patients, they also have particular areas of interest so patients with those needs can be offered even more specialized care.
